We believe in buying local. Neighborhood businesses give back to their communities through wages, taxes and purchases from other neighborhood businesses. We hope that you will decide to make your purchase locally if there is a store in your area.

Ordering Information
Because our jewelry is handcrafted, lead times vary for each piece. Estimated lead times are provided for each item on the website. We will notify you immediately of any complications or production delays. Expedited delivery may be available on certain items. Please email us with specific requests.

All orders shipped within Illinois are subject to 10.25% sales tax. All orders shipped within Massachusetts are subject to 6.25% sales tax.

Payment
We accept all major credit cards, and Apple Pay.

Shipping
All orders are shipped via UPS Ground unless otherwise specified. At this time, we are unable to ship to international addresses, P.O. boxes, an A.P.O. or F.P.O. address or U.S. territories. Shipping times exclude weekends and holidays and can change depending on shipping provider conditions that are out of our control. 
UPS Ground: $15 (free for orders over $250; discount applied automatically at checkout)*
UPS 2nd Day: $25 (signature required)
UPS Next Day Air: $35 (signature required)
*Orders to Alaska and Hawai’i ship USPS Priority, signature required, $25, unless other arrangements are made.

Returns
Jewelry can be returned for exchange or store credit only, within 7 days of receipt. We do not provide refunds. Jewelry must be unworn and in perfect condition. Shipping costs will be deducted from your store credit.  Please note that all rings, custom orders and sale items are final sale and cannot be exchanged. Please email the studio at info@sarahmcguire.com for a return form, or call us at 773-327-8870 before sending any merchandise back.

Repeated Exchanges
Because shopping online can be challenging, we do allow exchanges and store credit on most of our jewelry (excluding special orders, rings, and sale items which are always final sale). That said, we do monitor the number/frequency of exchanges made by individual customers and if we notice an excessive volume of exchanges, we may, at our discretion, refuse an exchange, deny an order, or close an account.

Rings
Obtaining an accurate ring size can be difficult and we suggest that you be sized by your local jeweler prior to ordering a ring. A wide band in a size 6 will fit more snugly than a narrow band in the same size, so such factors must be considered. Other factors such as temperature, salt intake, exercise and travel can also have a dramatic effect on your finger size, so we strongly recommend that you be sized multiple times to accurately determine your ring size. There is no such thing as a ring that fits perfectly at all times and under every condition. Many of our rings can be resized for a fee. We do not resize silver rings. Please contact us with any questions regarding ring sizing.

Special Orders
We are not taking on custom projects at this time. However, we may be able to accommodate certain special requests. If you would like a necklace in a custom length, or a ring with a larger stone, e.g., please contact us for more information.
